Ultramar Express Event Management launches The Express Convention
Ultramar Express Event Management, MICE division of TUI Spain, has launched the 'Express Convention' onto the market, adapting some of its products to the current situation of budget cuts in corporate meetings for 2009, which according to recent studies affects 54% of companies.
Under the concept 'Express Convention', Ultramar Express Event Management has designed a product which offers a new meeting formula based on saving time/money on transport, hotel and venue. So, clients can hold their planned corporate meetings with a saving of around 30%.
This cut can be made thanks to the negotiating ability of the company and the combination of a series of factors, such as the choice of a destination closer to the company's head office and less sought-after, replacing the plane with a fast train and the coice of a hotel near the railway station, or the availability of an extensive offer of services in the actual hotel, which thereby reduces the number of suppliers.
